Augustana College Athletics

Lettered in 1969, 70, 71 and 72…Started all four seasons at defensive tackle and played alongside fellow 2003 Hall of Fame inductee Dennis Koster for all four years…Was an All-American selection in both 1971 and 1972, being named to the All-Lutheran team and NAIA honor squad…Was the first player in Augustana football history to be named to the Kodak (now American Football Coaches Association) All-American team when he was selected in 1972…Twice he was a first team all-conference performer in the CCIW…Team captain as a senior…Twice named to the NAIA District 20 team.
