Erik Westerberg, a four-time letter winner in football, was a three-time CoSIDA Academic All-American from 2011-2013 and an NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship winner. In 2010, he was named Most Valuable Freshman on defense and followed it up with First Team All-CCIW honors in 2011 after ranking eighth in Division III in tackles per game. He also led the CCIW in that category and was voted the team MVP. In 2012, Westerberg ranked 13th in NCAA DIII in tackles per game and led the CCIW in total tackles. He was named First Team All-CCIW and First Team NCAA DIII All-American in 2013 and was a Gagliardi Trophy and Campbell Award finalist. Additionally, he was the winner of the National Football Foundation Postgraduate Scholarship.
