Crystal Putman Keller was an electric pitcher for the Augustana softball program and despite playing the early 1980s, still holds records to this day. She began her career in 1979 and appeared in 15 games with a 3.28 earned run average. The following season, she doubled the amount of appearances and had just six more earned runs than she did her freshman year, pitching over 188 innings compared to 91. She ended the 1980 season with 83 strikeouts and boasted a 22-4 record with a 1.82 ERA. The 188.1 innings and 22 wins are both school records for a single season.

Her junior year finished the lowest ERA of her career at 1.60, winning 11 games and striking out 61 in 126.2 innings. She wrapped up her time at Augustana with 12 more wins in 1982 to put her career record at 54-25. The 54 wins are good for third most all-time in Augustana softball history. She also sits second in innings pitched and sixth in strikeouts for a career.
