A 1940 graduate, Forrest A. Hainline Jr. was involved in tennis and swimming, but tennis was his first love.  Hainline was a winner in many state and national tennis tournaments and his record at Augustana speaks for itself:

Not only did Hainline achieve much success in tennis, but he had many other achievements outside of sports.  His other undergraduate honors are as follows:

His athletic ability and other college honors make evident the worthiness of Hainline as a Hall of Honor inductee.
