Baseball defeated by Millikin

MOLINE, Ill. -- The Augustana Vikings baseball team fell to the Millikin Big Blue on Friday by a score of 5-0. 

Millikin got on the scoreboard in the first inning after an unearned run gave them a 1-0 advantage. Grant Biggins notched the Vikings' first hit to put two runners on in the bottom half, but the Big Blue halted the scoring threat. The visitors added another in the top of the third and both teams remained without a run for the next four innings. In the top of the eighth, Millikin tallied three more to complete the 5-0 win.

With the loss, Augie moves to 15-7 on the season and 2-2 in conference play. The Vikings will host North Park tomorrow for a doubleheader starting at 1 p.m.
