ROCK ISLAND -- The Augustana Vikings men's lacrosse team picked up a Senior Day victory over the Carroll Pioneers on Saturday, winning by a score of 11-5.
Brady Holtz notched the first two scores of the game within 21 seconds of one another, each coming off assists of

Less than a minute into the second, Moore earned a goal on a pass from
Carson Ghys to move the Augie margin out to four. The Pioneers snatched their second point of the contest three minutes later, but the final two scores of the half belonged to the Vikings after Holtz and
Graham Shap added to the team's total in the final three minutes. Augie's advantage sat at 7-2 at the break. A low-scoring quarter followed, but Augustana stretched its differential further out following a 2-1 third-quarter margin. Ghys and Holtz tallied goals within the first five minutes of the second half and held the Pioneers scoreless for nearly the first 10 minutes before the visitors got their first and only goal of the quarter. The two teams played to a 2-2 fourth quarter, with Holtz and
Elijah Graesser accounting for the final two points for Augustana.
Holtz led all scorers in the win with six goals on 11 shots. The team boasted eight assists on its 11 makes, with three coming from Connolly and two via Ghys and Moore. Defensively,
