Neither team could muster a goal as the game sat at 0-0 entering the second half.

Another 10 minutes went by of scoreless action before a penalty inside the Lakeland box drawn by Jordyn Swanson set up a penalty kick for the Vikings. Ximena Osorio-Rodgriguez snuck her penalty strike just under the hands of the keeper and across the line, giving Augie the 1-0 advantage. The Vikings continued to keep the offensive pressure on, posting 12 shots in the second half while holding the Muskies to just two. Half of Lakeland's shots were on target, all stopped by Rogers.
