DECATUR, Ill. -- The Augustana Vikings men's soccer team was defeated on the road on Saturday, falling to the Millikin Big Blue by a score of 6-0.

Millikin notched four first-half goals to take the early advantage before adding two more scores in the second. The Vikings saw a couple of opportunities on offense through 45 minutes of action, but shot attempts from Derek Dedume and Ben Statz were off target.

In the second, the Vikings saw two more shots on the Millikin side, one more from Statz and another from Kassim Elaouni, but neither could connect as the Big Blue wrapped up the 6-0 victory. Benjamin Samuelson and Ignacio Alberola combined for five saves for Augie.

The Vikings will return home on Wednesday, October 11 to face Elmhurst.
