BLOOMINGTON, Ill. -- The Augustana Vikings men's soccer team dropped a conference road contest against the Illinois Wesleyan Titans on Wednesday, falling by a score of 3-0.

The Titans got on the board in the 14th minute and rode the 1-0 lead all the way into halftime. The Augie defense fended off seven shots in the opening half from the home team, putting up two of their own. Nick Sell tallied the lone attempt on target for the Vikings through one half of play.

Less than 10 minutes into the second half, Illinois Wesleyan notched their second score of the game. The Titans held a 9-2 advantage in shots in the second half, with both of the strikes from the Vikings on target. Derek Dedume and George Rucker posted each of the attempts in the second half. Illinois Wesleyan added one more score in the 83rd minute to complete the 3-0 win.

Ignacio Alberola secured five saves in net.

The Vikings will be back in action Saturday at Millikin.
