ROCK ISLAND -- Augustana men's soccer stumbled to No. 5 North Park at Thorson-Lucken Field on Saturday, resulting in their first conference loss this season.

Augie struggled to get past midfield in the first half, taking just one shot in the direction of North Park goalkeeper Alfred Sward. North Park's Isak Flo and Tobias Lund both registered goals in the half, putting them ahead 2-0.

North Park pulled away after an Augustana attempt at a offensive comeback fell short. Augie registered six shot attempts in second half, but could not get a ball through the back of the net. With a career-high 18 saves, Benjamin Samuelson kept Augie in the contest, registering an .818 save percentage on the day. North Park forward Willy Wickman sealed the game, sending two kicks into the goal in a six-minute span to settle the match at 4-0. 

Augustana will be back in action on September 28 to take on Monmouth on the road. Start time is scheduled for 3:00 p.m.
