Viking women suffer loss at IWU after two second-half scores from Titans

Augustana drops to 7-6 on the season

Bloomington, Ill. – Augustana women's soccer (7-6, 3-3) traveled to Illinois Wesleyan (6-6-1, 3-1) for a road match within the CCIW.

The Vikings started the scoring first with an early score from Liesl Whitener. Whitener collected a pass from Abby DeGustino in the 19th-minute and scored her third goal of the season to put Augie on top 1-0.

In goal, Janey Castoe made seven total saves for Augustana in the loss while Maria Fields saved eight balls for the Titans.
