The hosts finally broke through in minute 66. Senior

Each side got off two more shots in final 18 minutes, but Ion turned away both Elmhurst attempts, including one by Lauryn Wesoloski in the 86th minute.
Ion recorded five saves in her sixth complete game shutout of the season. Tuliglowski finished with two saves.
The Bluejays finished with an 8-7 edge in shots and a 5-3 advantage in shots on goal. They also took three corners, while Harvey's assist on Sigler's goal was the only one taken by the Vikings.
