NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- Jimmy Makuh of the Augustana Vikings football team has earned the first CCIW Offensive Player of the Week recognition of the 2026 season.

Makuh earns this honor after his performance in the season opener against Simpson this past weekend. He completed 16 of 23 passes for 241 yards and three touchdowns. He also added 55 rushing yards and two touchdowns on the ground, accounting for five total touchdowns and 296 total yards in the victory.
