KENOSHA, Wis. -- The Augustana Vikings men's tennis team finished the CCIW Individual Tournament on Sunday, with seven athletes in the finals and two champions.

Day One Recap

Pedro Nunes claimed the eighth flight after a 6-7 (3-7), 7-5, 10-8 victory over Carthage, while Fernando Carrillo Jimenez secured a 6-4, 6-3 win over North Central in the seventh flight. 

Saman Rezaeyan forced extra sets, but finished second alongside Santiago Diaz, Antonio Valdes Spirkin, and Facundo Feldman.

In doubles action, Aingeru Garcia and Jorge Marcelo defeated Millikin 8-4 before earning an 8-5 win over North Central 8-5. In the finals, Garcia and Marcelo secured the 8-7 (7-4) victory against Carthage.

Diaz and Rezaeyan earned a 8-2 win against Illinois Wesleyan before a 8-6 win over Carthage. In the finals, Diaz and Rezaeyan came up short with a score of 7-8 (3-7). 

Fabio Gonzalez Saini and Alvaro Adrio Ribagorda found a 8-4 win over Carroll before securing the semifinal round 8-6 against North Central. The duo fell short in the final round against Millikin 8-5.
