NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- Aubrey Gradin of the Augustana Vikings softball team has been named the CCIW Softball Hitter of the Week for the second time this season, the league annouced Monday. 

Gradin earns this honor following a standout week against North Central, Elmhurst, and Simpson. The sophomore totaled seven hits, three runs, and seven RBIs, highlighted by a double and two home runs.

She opened the week with a strong showing against North Central, recording three hits, an RBI, and a double in the doubleheader. Against Elmhurst, Gradin delivered a season-best five RBIs in game one, powered by a grand slam, and followed it up with another home run in game two, finishing the day with three hits and six RBIs. Gradin capped the week with a hit against the No. 6-ranked team.
