ROCK ISLAND -- Blake Nettleton and Riley Hendren of the Augustana Vikings baseball team have been selected to the D3baseball.com and ABCA Rawlings All-Region team. 

Nettleton was named First-Team on the ABCA/Rawlings list and Third-Team on D3baseball.com after his performance this year at Augustana. The senior right-handed pitcher ended the 2026 campaign leading the team with a 2.92 ERA and 1.16 WHIP. He led the CCIW in strikeouts with 120, 28 more than the athlete in second. The senior was second in the league with an opposing batting average of 1.96 and total innings with 87.1. Nettleton earned a season-high of 15 strikeouts at North Park on April 19. 

Hendren earned Third-Team honors in both organizations after leading the team with a .364 batting average, with 64 hits, 18 doubles, eight home runs, and batted 40 runs in. The sophomore appeared in 12 of the conference's 19 statistical leaderboards. Helead the CCIW in hits, doubles, and at-bats, while also ranking fourth in runs scored and hit by pitches, fifth in home runs, and sixth in RBIs and stolen bases. He owns a .594 slugging percentage and a 1.039 OPS, along with a .635 batting average in conference play. He recorded a standout performance on April 4 against Elmhurst, notching season highs of six hits, two home runs, four runs scored, and six RBIs.

This is the first time since 2023 that Augie has been featured on these lists.
