NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- Seven members of the Augustana Vikings softball team were named to the 2025 CCIW All-Conference teams in an announcement by the league on Wednesday morning. Four Vikings landed First Team honors, while three others appeared on Second Team. The seven selections are the most for the Augie softball program since 2009, while the four First Team honorees are the most since 2007.

Alexis Duke was crowned the conference's First-Year Player of the Year to go along with her First Team nod as a utility. In conference games, Duke ranked second on the Vikings among qualified batters in batting average at .431, also good for seventh in the CCIW. In total, Duke ranked in the top 10 in seven statistical categories, including eighth in OPS, second in runs scored, fourth in home runs, and 10th in doubles. She has struck out just twice all season, which puts her in the top 15 nationally in the "toughest to strikeout" category.

Joining Duke on First Team was another first-year player in Aubrey Gradin at first base. In conference games this season, Gradin is tied for fourth in home runs, which included a grand slam off the reigning CCIW Pitcher of the Year. She leads the Vikings in runs batted in this year with 15 in CCIW action and 38 all year. Gradin also ranks in the top 10 in the conference in slugging percentage and has four doubles through the 16 games. 

Making All-Conference for the second straight season, McKensey Stontz earned First Team recognition at designated player. The sophomore ranked in the top 10 in the CCIW in runs scored during the conference schedule and hit .377 through the 16 contests. Overall in 2025, Stontz has 15 doubles, three home runs, and a triple to go with 28 runs batted in. She leads the team with 54 hits and is one of four players to boast an overall batting average over .400.

Junior Emma Evans also grabbed First Team honors at third base. In conference games this season, Evans ranked third in the conference in batting average, slugging percentage, and OPS. In the 16 games, she batted a team-best .444 and had five doubles and two triples. She joins Duke and Stontz as one of three Vikings this season with 20-plus hits in conference play and has tallied at least one base knock in all but four games during the league slate.

On Second Team, Lauren Koster earned her second straight All-CCIW nod as a pitcher. The junior ranked in the top 10 in six statistical categories in CCIW play, including second in wins fourth in innings pitched, eighth in strikeouts, and 10th in opposing batting average. Koster had three starts this season against conference foes in which she did not allow an earned run and overall owns six games this season with five or more strikeouts. 

First-year catcher Alaina Diaz also appeared on Second Team for the Vikings after ranking eighth in the CCIW in runs batted in. She hit .302 in conference games this season with three doubles and just two punch outs.She posted at least one RBI in 10 of the 16 league contests. 

Senior Anna Maciejewski rounded out the selections for the Vikings as a Second Team outfielder. In conference games, she batted at .440 clip and knocked in seven runs to go with a pair of doubles and a home run. Maciejewski had four multi-hit games in CCIW action alone, including a 3-3 effort with a long ball in the team's win over North Park back on April 26.

Additionally, Mikaylin Hofer was named the recipient of the CCIW's RESPECT Award.
