NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- Madison Langewisch and Becca Lacina have been named to the CCIW's All-Conference Team, the league announced Tuesday.
Langewisch, a First Team honoree, was ranked in the conference in goals, shots, and draw controls won per game. She posted 11 goals out of her 33 shots in conference play to average 2.20 goals per game. Langewisch is ranked No. 7 in goals and fifth in shots, along with No. 6 for draw controls won with 19 to average 3.80 per game. She ended the season with 42 goals and 15 assists for a total of 57 points. Langewisch also won 67 draw controls, caused 13 turnovers, and clinched two game-winning goals. On March 22, she obtained a season-high of six goals, three assists, and nine points against Albion.
Lacina, a Second Team selection, collected 13 goals and 11 assists for a total of 24 points on the season. Her 22 draw controls in league action are good for the fifth-most in the conference, while her 16 ground balls are good for fifth. Lacina secured a season-high of five assists and seven points on March 22 vs. Albion.
This season marks the first time since 2021 that the team received All-CCIW selections and first since 2019 to boast multiple honorees.
Additionally, Kritika Chitnis was named the recipient of the CCIW's RESPECT Award.
