ROCK ISLAND -- The Augustana Vikings men's volleyball team will host the Dominican Stars on Thursday, February 20 for a weekday clash in the Carver Center. 

The Vikings enter the contest with a 10-3 record and return to action after winning two games at the Marian Triangular on Saturday. In their most recent matchup, Augie defeated Mount St. Joseph in three sets with set scores of 25-18, 25-14, 25-18. As a team, the Vikings hit .181 percent, while holding their opponent to -.014 percent. Ryan Huntington and Cole Clarke led with seven kills, while Colin Schaefer notched 25 assists, and Max Sellers had six digs. Sean Carlson served four aces and Tom Lamb blocked five attempts to earn CCIW Defensive Player of the Week. 

Dominican owns a 3-6 record and returns to action after a 3-0 loss to No. 18 North Central on Saturday. As a team, the Stars hit .141 percent, while their opponent hit .320 percent. Ty Geschke led with nine kills, while Owen Morrow obtained 14 assists, and Grant Henderson had seven digs. Dominican holds a 1-3 away record with their last road matchup being the loss against No. 18 North Central. 

The Stars own a 4-0 all-time series record over Augie. Dominican secured the 3-0 victory in River Forest, Ill. in 2021.
