NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- Tom Lamb of the Augustana Vikings men's volleyball team has been named CCIW Defensive Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday.

Lamb earned this honor after helping contribute to Augie's 3-0 record this past week, collecting 14 blocks, 13 kills, and two service aces. The junior averaged 1.27 blocks per set on the week.

In the win against St. Ambrose, Lamb notched three assisted blocks with five kills. The junior obtained five assisted blocks and one solo in the win over Marian with six kills and a service ace. In the final battle against Mount St. Joseph, Lamb secured two kills, a service ace, and five blocks.
