WISCONSIN DELLS, Wis. -- The Augustana Vikings men's basketball team defeated the No. 8 Calvin Knights on Friday after a late rally in the second half.

The Knights pulled ahead after five consecutive points to lead by seven before Ben Jurzak knocked down a three-point shot to close the gap once more to create an 18-14 score. Both teams went back and forth in scoring with Calvin closing the first 20 minutes of play with a 5-2 run to lead 28-20 entering the halftime break.

Returning to the court, the Knights moved the difference into double-digits. Calvin held the lead until eight consecutive points for Augie closed the gap to three after a three-point shot by Andre. The Knights pulled ahead once more before Cam Atkison knocked down a three-pointer to get as close as two with 10:44 on the clock. The Vikings saw this difference once more after a pair of free throws by Atkinson before a jumper by Dom Rhoden evened the score at 43-43.
