NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- Toby Splitt of the Augustana Vikings football team has been named the CCIW Defensive Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday.

The senior earned this honor after his performance in the 31-24 win over Carroll this past Saturday. In the win, Splitt had a total of 12 tackles, with eight being solo and four assisted. He also broke up a deep pass from the Pioneers in the second quarter and intercepted a pass at the Augustana seven-yard line to begin the final quarter.
