WOOSTER, Ohio -- The Augustana Vikings baseball team is receiving votes in the first edition of the D3baseball.com/NCBWA preseason poll.

The Vikings are coming off a 27-17 season, during which they placed second in the CCIW tournament after winning three elimination games. This is the second year in a row that Augie has earned points in the preseason poll. 

Augie joins North Central as one of two CCIW schools to receive votes in the preseason poll. The Vikings' schedule also will feature three games against teams currently ranked in the top 25.

The Vikings open their season in Memphis, Tenn. on Saturday, February 14 against Webster.
