WAUKESHA, Wis. -- The Augustana Vikings men's tennis team saw its season come to an end on Friday, falling to the No. 2 seeded Carthage Firebirds by a score of 5-0 in the CCIW Tournament semifinals.

Carthage grabbed all three doubles matches to take a 3-0 advantage into singles, which included a pair of close 8-6 victories at No. 1 and No. 3. The Firebirds sealed the match with the first two wins of singles play, taking the contests at No. 3 and 5. Augustana had four players in the lead when the match concluded as Arthur Hermange, David Larraga, Saman Rezaeyan, and Timothee Philip all won their first set.

The Vikings end their season with a 17-9 overall record.
