WAUKESHA, Wis. -- The Augustana Vikings men's tennis team saw its season come to an end on Friday, falling to the No. 2 seeded Carthage Firebirds by a score of 5-0 in the CCIW Tournament semifinals.
Carthage grabbed all three doubles matches to take a 3-0 advantage into singles, which included a pair of close 8-6 victories at No. 1 and No. 3. The Firebirds sealed the match with the first two wins of singles play, taking the contests at No. 3 and 5. Augustana had four players in the lead when the match concluded as

Saman Rezaeyan, and
Timothee Philip all won their first set.
The Vikings end their season with a 17-9 overall record.
