Box Score ST. LOUIS, Mo. -- Arthur Hermange of Augustana men's tennis saw his postseason run come to an end Sunday morning at the NCAA Division III National Championships, falling in the opening round to Dylan Walters of Brandeis by a score of 7-6, 7-6. 

In set one, Walters won the opening game and the two players alternated victories up until a 5-5 tie. Hermange went in front for the first time with a win in the next game, but his opponent evened the score to force a tiebreaker. Walters took it by a final of 7-2 to claim the first set. 

In the second, Hermange got off to a fast start with the first three wins, but Walters charged back to deadlock the set at 4-4. The two traded wins to force another tie-breaking scenario, with Walters taking it by a score of 7-0. 

Hermange ends his season with a 22-4 record in singles.
