CHICAGO, Ill. -- The Augustana Vikings baseball team fell to the Millikin Big Blue on Friday in the fourth game of the CCIW tournament by a score of 12-2 in seven innings. 

Millikin scored first in the bottom half of the opening frame, but Augie put up two of their own in the second inning. Colton Davis started the inning with a walk before Dymitri Kanellakis doubled to right-center field. Charlie Bergin grounded out to advance Davis home and Alec McGinnis singled up the middle to put runners on first and third. A squeeze bunt from Heath Perry allowed Kanellakis to come home and give Augie a 2-1 advantage. In the bottom of the inning, the Big Blue put up four runs to take the lead by a score of 6-2. 

Millikin tallied three runs in each of the the third and fourth innings and eventually took the game by a score of 12-2 in seven innings.  

With the loss, Augie moves to 25-16 on the season and will battle the Carthage Firebirds tonight at 6 p.m in an elimination game.
