KENOSHA, Wis. -- The Augustana Vikings men's volleyball team will return to the home of the No. 7 Carthage Firebirds on Wednesday, April 10 for the semifinal round of the CCIW tournament. 

The Vikings finished the regular season with an overall record of 18-6 and 5-5 in conference play and earned the No. 3 seed in the upcoming CCIW Tournament and will play in its first postseason appearance since 2021. The team returns to action after falling to the Firebirds in three sets on Saturday. Aidan Bolen finished with 10 kills to lead Augie, while Ben Schultz had five on .556 hitting. Schultz also had three service aces and four blocks, while Colin Schaefer had 23 assists and Max Sellers had nine digs.  

The Firebirds are 17-5 on the season and 9-1 in the conference after the win against Augie on Saturday. As a team, Carthage hit .286, with eight kills from Owen Otto and Gene McNulty had 25 assists. The Firebirds are undefeated at home this season at 9-0 and hold a 12-0 all-time record over Augie.
