WAUKESHA, Wis. -- The Augustana Vikings will hit the road for a pair of road games beginning tomorrow, April 9, against the Carroll Pioneers

Augie owns a 15-9 overall record and 2-4 in conference play after dropping both games to North Park on Saturday. In their most recent game against North Park, Augustana fell by a score of 10-9 after 11 innings. The Vikings totaled nine hits led by Charlie Bergin and Daniel Mosele, who had two apiece and Alec McGinnis, Bergin, and Mosele batted two runs in.

Carroll sits at 8-13 on the season and 3-3 in CCIW, returning to action after collecting a 10-6 win against Elmhurst on Saturday. The Pioneers totaled 16 hits, led by Lane Scott who had four, and Anthony Tado with three runs batted in. Carroll holds a 7-2 home record, with their last home game being the win against Elmhurst. 

Augie holds a 51-23 all-time record over the Pioneers, with their last matchup resulting in an 11-1 win for the Vikings after eight innings on May 10, 2023. Cole Green and Alex Simon had two hits, while Simon batted three runs in.

On Wednesday, Augustana will close out its season series against North Park in Chicago. North Park currently sits with a record of 15-7  and 4-0 in the CCIW after picking up two wins over Augie this past weekend. Augustana holds an 85-50 all-time record over its Viking counterpart.
