MOLINE, Ill. -- The Augustana Vikings baseball team hosts the Millikin Big Blue on Thursday, April 4 for the first game of three straight at home.

Augie owns a 15-6 overall record and 2-1 in conference play after securing a 2-1 record against Elmhurst on March 29-30. In their most recent game against Elmhurst on Saturday, the Vikings earned a 10-1 victory. Augie totaled 10 hits in the win, led by Colton Davis with three hits and Daniel Mosele with four runs batted in. Zach DeMarlie earned the win on the mound after striking out 11 in eight innings.

Millikin sits at 12-10 on the season and 3-1 in the CCIW, returning to action after collecting a 14-0 win against Carthage on Saturday. The Big Blue totaled 19 hits, with four grabbing three hits and two runs batted in apiece. Millikin holds a 4-2 away record, with their last road game being the win against Carthage. 

Augie holds a 123-67 all-time record over the Big Blue, with their last matchup resulting in a 7-6 win for the Vikings on April 23, 2023. Cole Green and Alec McGinnis led Augie in the win with two runs batted in.
