BLOOMINGTON, Ill. -- The Augustana Vikings women's lacrosse team concluded the 2024 season at the home of the Illinois Wesleyan Titans on Saturday, falling by a score of 22-2.
The Titans collected the first three goals before a goal by Narita Lambert got Augie on the board at 9:32. Illinois Wesleyan wrapped up the first half with five more points to make a 7-1 game. In the second, the Titans tallied five more before a free-position shot from Lambert secured her second goal of the game. Illinois Wesleyan obtained another to create a 12-2 score after the first half. Returning from the halftime break, the Titans grabbed nine more points, while Augie remained scoreless to complete the game with a score of 22-2.
Lambert collected the two goals for Augie, while Lanie Cecala caused four turnovers and Madison Langewisch won six draw controls.
With the loss, Augie completes the season with an overall record of 2-11 and 1-5 in the CCIW.
