MOLINE, Ill. -- The Augustana Vikings baseball team returns home to host the Wheaton Thunder on Thursday, April 25 before playing two games at Wheaton on Saturday, April 27.

Augie owns an 18-14 overall record and 5-7 in conference play after falling to Millikin on Tuesday by a score of 7-0. The Vikings totaled five hits, Alex Simon led with two, while Ethan Sosnowski, Colton Davis, and Charlie Bergin collected one apiece.

Wheaton sits at 9-22 on the season and 3-12 in the CCIW, returning to action after falling to North Park on Tuesday by a score of 7-6. The Thunder had 11 hits, with two individuals collecting three apiece and Joe Klein leading with 2 runs batted in. Wheaton owns a 0-9 road record, with their last matchup being the loss against North Park.

The Vikings hold a 94-51 all-time record over the Thunder, with their last meeting resulting in an 8-1 victory for Augie last year to secure the CCIW regular season title. Cole Green and Simon led the Vikings with three hits, while Green batted two runs in.
