DECATUR, Ill. -- The Augustana Vikings baseball team hits the road to face the Millikin Big Blue on Tuesday, April 23 for their second matchup of the season.

Augie owns an 18-13 overall record and 5-8 in conference play after winning the series against North Central 2-1 this past weekend. In their most recent game against North Central, Augustana fell by a score of 13-3 after eight innings. The Vikings totaled three hits coming from Ethan Sosnowski, Colton Davis, and Daniel Mosele. On Saturday, Augie swept a doubleheader at Swanson Stadium/Brunner Field, winning game one by a score of 8-3 before taking game two with a final of 9-8.

Millikin sits at 20-12 on the season and 10-3 in the CCIW, returning to action after defeating Carroll on Sunday by a score of 8-7. The Big Blue totaled 10 hits, with three individuals collecting two apiece and Kyle Gibson leading with four runs batted in. Millikin owns a 10-7 home record, with their last matchup resulting in a 12-1 win against Fontbonne on April 17. 

The Vikings hold a 123-68 all-time record over the Big Blue. Millikin won the earlier-season matchup this season in Moline by a score of 5-0.
