ROCK ISLAND -- The Augustana Vikings women's lacrosse team will travel north to take on the Chicago Maroons on Saturday, April 20 for the first road game in two weeks. 

The Vikings are 2-9 on the season and 1-3 in conference play after a 22-1 loss against Carroll on Wednesday. Elena Bechard notched the lone goal for the Vikings, while Liz Goldcamp caused two turnovers and Madison Langewisch won three draw controls. 

Chicago holds a 7-4 overall record and is 3-0 in the CCIW and returns to action after a 26-1 victory against North Central on Wednesday. As a team, the Maroons made 26 of their 48 attempts, with five coming from Lulu Hardy. Three individuals caused two turnovers and Wynne Boggan won seven draw controls. Chicago owns a 6-1 home record this season, with their last matchup being the win against North Central. The Maroons hold a 4-0 all-time record over Augie, with the Vikings falling 23-0 in their most recent meeting.
