ORLANDO, Fla. -- Augustana football offensive lineman Cain Johnson has been announced as a participant in the upcoming FBS Tropical Bowl. The 10th annual bowl game will take place on January 19 at Celebration Stadium.

Johnson recently competed in the FCS National Bowl in early December, where he was named one of a select number of individual standouts. The top performers from the game were awarded an invitation to the FBS Tropical Bowl next month, which will feature seniors from all over the country who will perform in front of various professional teams and scouts. Johnson was one of just over 70 players to get invited to this year's FCS National Bowl game in Daytona Beach, which featured athletes from NCAA Division II, III, NAIA, and other small-college divisions.
