ROCK ISLAND -- The Augustana Vikings men's soccer team will remain at Thorson-Lucken Field on Saturday, October 26, for the final home game of the season against the Millikin Big Blue.

The Vikings enter the contest with an overall record of 5-6-1 and 2-4 in CCIW play.  Augie returns to action after collecting a 2-1 win over Carthage on Wednesday. Toby Dottin put Augie on the board to give the Vikings the early 1-0 advantage after 20 minutes of play before the Firebirds evened the score four minutes later. The 1-1 deadlock remained intact through halftime. Benjamin Samuelson saved five of Carthage's six shots on target to hold the Firebirds to just one goal.

Returning to the field, Carthage collected the first four shots of the second period, with Samuelson saving two of them to keep them off the board. With 30 seconds remaining, Alberola connected on the Vikings' lone shot attempt of the half to move Augie out in front for good.

Carthage sits at 8-5-1 on the season and 2-3-1 in conference action after falling to Wheaton last Saturday by a score of 2-1. Tobias Overbye notched the lone goal for the Big Blue, while Yassin Mamdu secured the assist and Oliwier Holowinski collected five saves in goal. Millikin has a 4-3 road record with their last away matchup resulting in a 1-0 victory over North Central on October 16.

Augie holds a 22-13-3 all-time series record over the Big Blue. Millikin won last season's meeting at Millikin by a score of 6-0. The Vikings trail the Big Blue by a half game for the sixth and final CCIW playoff spot.

Kickoff is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
