KENOSHA, Wis. -- The Augustana Vikings women's soccer team will plat its final regular season road contest on Wednesday, October 23 when they take on the Carthage Firebirds

Augie responded with the next two looks at the net, seeing its first attempt by Abby DeGustino before Ximena Osorio-Rodriguez notched a shot three minutes later. In the 43rd minute, the Vikings found the equalizing strike on a goal by DeGustino off a pass from Mary Baker. The two teams took the 1-1 into the halftime break, with Augie holding in advantage in shots 6-3 through 45 minutes of action.

It was a more balanced showing offensively in the second, with Augustana holding a slight 5-4 advantage in the shots category. Grinnell collected the first two looks of the frame, followed by two in a row by Augie. The Vikings posted the last three looks of the contest in the final eight minutes, but the game remained scoreless through the final 45 minutes to result in the 1-1 draw. Jordyn Swanson led Augustana with three shots. Sara Schinker secured three saves in net.
