ROCK ISLAND -- The Augustana Vikings women's soccer team will remain at Thorson-Lucken Field for their next contest on Wednesday, September 13 when they host the Central Dutch for a non-conference showdown.

Augie enters Wednesday riding a three-game winning streak after outscoring opponents by a combined 6-0 in three wins last week. All four of the Vikings' victories this season have come by way of shutout. Liesl Whitener, the reigning CCIW Offensive Player of the Week, scored four goals in three games last week, earning game-winning tallies against Coe and Concordia-Chicago. In the team's most recent outing on Sunday, the Vikings saw a penalty kick goal from Ximena Osorio-Rodriguez after Jordyn Swanson drew a foul in the box, eventually proving to be the difference maker in the 1-0 win over Lakeland.

The Dutch currently sport an undefeated record through four games, sitting at 2-0-2 on the season. Central recently earned a 2-2 draw against fellow CCIW foe North Park in their most recent match at home. They are 1-0 on the road this season, winning 5-0 at Northwestern (Minn.) back on September 6. The Dutch finished the 2022 season with a 9-6-3 record.

Augustana is 5-0-1 all-time against Central. The two teams faced off last season in Pella, Iowa, resulting in a 2-1 victory for the Vikings.

Start time on Wednesday is scheduled for 6 p.m. Live coverage of the contest can be found here.
