NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- Nadia Ranieri of Augustana Vikings softball has won her fifth straight CCIW weekly honor after being named the conference's Pitcher of the Week on Monday.

The junior posted a 2-0 record over the weekend, picking up a shutout win over North Park on Friday before earning a victory over Wheaton on Saturday. Against North Park, she went the distance, striking out 10, while allowing just two hits and one walk. The performance was her fifth double-digit strikeout effort this season.

On Saturday vs. Wheaton, she pitched a complete game, striking out seven in the win. She helped her case on the mound, hitting a walk-off home run to help earn her 13th victory on the mound in 2023.

Ranieri has now been named CCIW Student-Athlete of the week for the fifth straight time, with four coming in the pitcher category and the other as a hitter.
