NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- Augustana pitcher Nadia Ranieri has been named the CCIW Pitcher of the Week for the third week in a row, the conference office announed Monday afternoon.

Ranieri appeared in two games last week, most notably pitching an eight-inning shutout against Elmhurst on Saturday. She allowed just four hits in eight innings and struck out 15 batters, including the final three outs of the game after a lengthy weather delay. She allowed just one run on the week in 11 innings of work, dropping her ERA to 1.60 on the season.
