MILWAUKEE, Wis. -- The Augustana Vikings men's lacrosse team will head to Wisconsin on Thursday, April 13 to take on the MSOE Raiders in their final non-conference contest of the season.
Augustana enters Thursday with a 5-6 overall record and 0-2 mark in the CCIW. The team recently fell on the road to the Illinois Wesleyan Titans by a score of 22-4.
Brady Holtz notched two goals in the game for the Vikings, while
Paul Huber also added one to go with his team-high four caused turnovers. Augustana is 1-4 on the road this season, with Thursday's matchup against the Raiders serving as the team's final true road contest.
MSOE sits 6-3 on the season, currently riding a six-game winning streak after beginning the season 0-3. The Raiders recently defeated Edgewood by a score of 12-8 to improve to 4-0 in conference play. The team is 1-2 against the CCIW this season, defeating Carroll by a score of 23-0 in their lone win. MSOE dropped two early-season games against Illinois Wesleyan and Elmhurst.
Thursday will mark the ninth all-time meeting between the two programs, with Augustana holding a 7-1 advantage in the series. The Raiders picked up their first-ever win against the Vikings last season, winning in Rock Island by a final of 11-6.
Start time is scheduled for 4 p.m.
