KENOSHA, Wis. -- The Augustana Vikings women's water polo will be back in action April 1-2 for their final regular season regional outing, set to take on fellow CWPA opponents Austin, Wittenberg, Macalester, and Carthage.

The Vikings were last in action two weeks ago, hosting the first of two CWPA events. Augustana finished the weekend 3-1, knocking off Wittenberg on Friday before taking down Carthage and No. 10 Macalester on Saturday. The Vikings fell to Austin on Sunday to round out the weekend and bring their overall record to 9-5 on the season. Augustana enters the month of April ranked No. 7 in the latest NCAA Division III poll.

Augie will kick off their stay in Kenosha with a rematch with the No. 5 ranked Austin 'Roos at 11 a.m. on Saturday. The 'Roos enter 4-8 on the season, coming off a 4-0 trip to Rock Island two weeks ago. Austin outscored Augustana 4-0 in the fourth quarter to hold on for the 9-5 win in each team's last outing. Austin leads the all-time series between the two programs 5-0.

The Vikings will then face the Wittenberg Tigers at 4:45 p.m. on Saturday. The Tigers enter with a 5-8 overall record, going 1-3 at the last CWPA regional. Wittenberg picked up a win over Carthage before falling to Macalester in their most recent outing to close out their stay in Rock Island. The Vikings won their lone meeting over the Tigers this year by a score of 13-3 and 4-0 in the all-time series.

On Sunday, Augie begins play with Macalester, who are receiving votes in the latest DIII poll. The Scots are 4-8 this season and are currently on a two-game winning streak after wins over Wittenberg and Carthage. Augustana is 3-0 all-time versus Macalester, squeaking out an 8-7 victory in their last meeting two weeks ago.

The Vikings will close their weekend with a matchup against host school Carthage. The Firebirds sit with an overall record of 3-11, currently enduring a seven-game losing streak. Carthage fell to Macalester by forfeit in their most recent scheduled contest, also dropping two games at the CWPA regional at Augustana prior to that. The Vikings are 4-0 all-time against Carthage, winning both meetings this season by scores of 19-7 and 11-2.
