WINTER HAVEN, Fla. – Augustana baseball fell to St. Olaf by a 10-3 score on Wednesday to conclude a three-game series against the Oles and wrap up their Florida stay. 

The Oles got off to a quick start against the Vikings, scoring one in the first before a pair of three-run innings in the second and third. In the bottom of the fourth, Augie produced their lone scoring inning with a three-run outing. After loading the bases with two walks and a hit by pitch, Ethan Sosnowski scored the ensuing at-bat after another walk was issued to Brett Benedetti. Following a pitching replacement for the Oles, Cole Green hit an RBI single before Kyle Campbell's sacrifice fly to center scored Michael Aragon to cut the deficit to four. 

Augie's offense went without a run for the remainder of the game, mustering only two hits through the final six innings. The Oles tacked on three runs in the top of the eighth to put the score at its 10-3 final. 

Augie secured five hits as a team, with Campbell, Benedetti, Green, Alec McGinnis and Matt Ozanic each nabbing one. 

The Vikings drop to 15-4 with the loss and will return to Illinois to open their conference slate on the road against the Elmhurst Bluejays on Sunday, April 2. The action begins at 1:00 p.m. from Butterfield Park.
