ROCK ISLAND -- The Augustana Vikings women's soccer team saw their season come to an end on Saturday, falling to the visiting Millikin Big Blue in overtime by a score or 1-0.

Six minutes into the first overtime session, Augie saw its first shot on goal as a strike from
Liesl Whitener was stopped by the Millikin keeper.
Janey Castoe saved the lone attempt from the Big Blue to keep the game tied after 100 minutes of play.
In the second half of overtime, the Big Blue broke the deadlock with a score five minutes in. Augie was unable to find the equalizer and Millikin held on to eliminate the Vikings from the postseason.
Whitener led Augie with three shots, while Castoe secured five saves.
Augustana ends its season with a 10-5-4 overall record.
