ROCK ISLAND — The Augustana Vikings men's soccer team wrapped up the season with a loss against the No. 5 North Central Cardinals 5-0.

The Cardinals scored quickly on the 12th minute and kept their pace tallying up goals periodically throughout the first half heading to the locker room with a 3-0 lead.  Ignacio Alberola put up a fight in the box for Augie with 11 rescued shots of the 16 attempts on goal.

In the second half of the match, Augie's defense held its own in the second half, allowing just 10 of the 37 total shots sent by North Central in the game. The Cardinals snatched two more goals in the 71st and 77th minute to expand the score to 5-0.

This conference contest concludes the 2023 Augutana Vikings men's soccer team season.
