ROCK ISLAND -- The Augustana Vikings men's soccer team will return home on Wednesday, October 11 to host the Elmhurst Bluejays at Thorson-Lucken Field.
Augie enters Wednesday with an 0-9-2 overall record, recently falling to the Millikin Big Blue on Saturday by a score of 6-0. Millikin notched four first-half goals to take the early advantage before adding two more scores in the second. The Vikings saw a couple of opportunities on offense through 45 minutes of action, but shot attempts fromÂ

Kassim Elaouni, but neither could connect as the Big Blue wrapped up the 6-0 victory.Â

Elmhurst currently sits with a 2-8-2 overall record and 1-3 mark in the CCIW. The Bluejays have dropped two straight since defeating Carroll, falling to North Park and Wheaton in their last two outings. A total of nine of the 12 contests this season for Elmhurst have come on the road, where they sport a 1-7-1 record.
The Vikings are 4-13-2 all-time against the Bluejays. Elmhurst won last season's meeting by a score of 3-1.Â
