JACKSONVILLE, Ill. -- The Augustana Vikings women's soccer team will be back in action on Tuesday, September 27 when they visit the Illinois College Lady Blue in a non-conference matchup.

The Vikings played to a 1-1 draw with North Park in their CCIW opener this past Saturday, making it two straight games ending in a tie for Augie. After a scoreless first half, North Park got on the board first seven minutes into the second half. Maeve Sheridan converted an equalizing goal 14 minutes later and the 1-1 score held until the end. Both Augustana and North Park finished with 14 shots in the contest.

Illinois College enters Tuesday with an 0-6-1 record. The Lady Blue have lost five straight overall, including a 4-2 defeat to Grinnell at home in their most recent outing. Their lone draw came against Principia, a 1-1 final back on September 5.

Augustana won the only meeting between these two programs, a 9-0 victory back in 2004.
