ROCK ISLAND, Ill. – The Augustana women's soccer team will hit the road again for their second game of the 2022 season. The Vikings will look to build on their debut victory in a tilt at Greenville University.
 
The Vikings started the season with a 2-1 road win over the Dutch of Central College. After a pair of goals from Kayla Garcia and Molly Fank, Augie held on to defeat a charging Central squad.
 
Greenville began their schedule on Thursday evening with a 2-0 road loss at Washington University in St. Louis. The Panthers gave up two unassisted goals midway through the second half to take the loss.
 
Augustana and Greenville have squared off on four previous occasions dating back to the 2008 season with the Vikings holding a 4-0 advantage. The two teams faced off most recently in the 2021 season when Augie captured a 3-1 victory.
