PLATTEVILLE, Wis. -- The Augustana Vikings women's soccer team will be on the road again for their next contest as they take on the UW-Platteville Pioneers on Tuesday, September 20.

The Vikings sit at 4-3 on the season following a 1-0 loss on Saturday to the Lawrence. Augie out-shot their opponent 11-5 in the contest, seeing a few opportunities in front of the Lawrence goal narrowly miss. The home team grabbed the first and only goal of the game in the 81st minute and held on for the 1-0 win.

UW-Platteville enters Tuesday with a 5-1 record and has won three straight. The Pioneers are 1-1 against fellow CCIW schools this season, dropping a 1-0 contest to Carroll before knocking of North Park by a final of 1-0. UW-Platteville has not allowed more than one goal in a game this season.

Augustana is 5-2-1 all-time against Platteville, winning their last encounter in 2019 at home by a score of 1-0.
