PLATTEVILLE, WIS. -- The Augustana Vikings men's soccer team will travel for their next contest on Tuesday, September 20 when they take on the UW-Platteville Pioneers at Ralph E. Davis Stadium.

The Vikings were defeated by the Illinois College Blueboys over the weekend to drop to 0-4-1 on the season. The Blueboys tallied their lone score early in the first half and held that margin all the way until the end. The Vikings out-shot the Blueboys 17-12, but ultimately could bit force a score to even the match. Jack Edwards led Augie with a team-high five shots. Ben Statz was close behind with four. 

UW-Platteville enters Tuesday with a 4-2-1 overall record. The Pioneers are unbeaten in their last three matches, scoring 11 goals over that span. UW-Platteville defeated the Albion Britons on Sunday by a score of 4-1.
