ROCK ISLAND, Ill. – Viking men's lacrosse (9-4, 2-2) is looking for a key conference victory over Elmhurst (9-4, 1-2) this Saturday. Augustana and Elmhurst will face off on Saturday, Apr. 23 at 1:00 P.M. for the Vikings' final home game of the 2022 campaign.
 
The Bluejays enter the weekend on a two-game losing streak after dropping their two most recent contests to North Central and Transylvania. Prior to losing those two CCIW games, the Bluejays rattled off nine-straight wins.
 
Elmhurst's offense is led by leading scorers Marcus Yandall and Ben Luke. Yandall has totaled 60 points on the season with 30 goals and 30 assists while Luke has cored 46 goals and assisted on 12. Other key offensive contributors include Parker O'Leary with 30 goals, Sante Dybowski with 22 goals, and Jake Grebe with 26 assists.
 
Defensively, Trent Nyberg, Ryan Camarata, and David Castaneda lead the Bluejays' charge with a combined 53 caused turnovers. In goal, Noah Mickelson has been the primary keeper for Elmhurst with 78 goals allowed and 145 saves with a 7-2 record.
